Welcome to my website! I'm Manu Sharma, I’ve worked in the marketing world for the past 20 years with over 200 different brands and I'm excited to share my journey with you.

I was born and raised in Bombay (Mumbai), India, in a family that instilled in me the values of respect for people, religions, and cultures. Embracing diversity and maintaining a positive vibe are core to who I am. As a lifelong foodie with a passion for connecting with people, my path has always been guided by these principles.

After college, I moved to Negril, Jamaica, a place I consider my full-time vacation destination. It was there that my real education in sales began. Working at a duty-free shop, I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, learning about their cultures while selling souvenirs and jewelry to tourists. This experience was invaluable and set the stage for my future in sales and marketing.

In 2000, I relocated to Los Angeles, California. My initial roles were in the medical field, working at prestigious institutions like UCLA and Kaiser Permanente. Although these jobs paid the bills, they didn’t satisfy my passion for interacting with people and sharing my love for food.

A part-time job doing food demos in grocery stores changed everything. I discovered a deep love for educating customers about products and quickly became the #1 demo person in LA. This success led me to resign from the medical industry and dive fully into the food industry. I started working in sales and merchandising, and doors kept opening thanks to self-learning, experience, and building strong relationships.

My journey has taken me to food shows and numerous opportunities where my work has been consistently praised. The compliment that stays with me is, "We wish there were 10 more Manu Sharmas to help more brands reach the next level."
